How to get started
Optimize your stable with Mosson Stable!
We have made it easy for you to get started.
Step 1
Create your profile and download the app
To create your profile for Mosson Stable you need to sign up here on the website. Choose the subscription that suits your stable the best.
After you have signed up, you will receive an email with your password that you must use to log in to both your profile on the website and the app.
You can download the app Mosson Stable for both mobile and tablet in App Store and Google Play.
Mosson Stable is a digital solution with both a web platform and an app. The website is where you set up your new stable management system and the app is what you and your team will use every day in the stable.
Step 2
Add all your horses and employees
Before you can start using the app, you need to add your horses. You add your horses from your profile on the website.
Once you have added your horses on the website you can see them in your app right away. If you want to add info about your horses, go to their profile in the app and fill in what tack they use, what they eat etc.
Invite your employees/users
It is also on the website that you add the users who should have access to your app.
You decide which level of access each user should have and which horses they can see.
There are also specific user roles for your farrier, dentist, veterinarian and equine therapist.
When you add new users, they will receive an email with info and their own password for the app.
Step 3
How to create tasks and trainings
Now you are ready to start creating trainings and tasks in the app and use the app as a planning, communication and management tool in the stable.
From the horse profile you can create tasks and training for the specific horse.
From the Plan tab and Calendar tab you can create tasks and training for more or all horses at the same time.
- Click on the + in the top right corner.
- Select what type of activity you want to create
- Choose the specific template – use the standard templates or create your own templates.
- Choose the date and time for the activity and assign the activity to a given employee.
You can also add at note, upload a picture or video, add duration, pulse, temperature etc. - Click on Create in the top right corner.
Now the activity will show under planned activities on the Plan tab and the horse profile and in the Calendar – and everyone with access to the app will know the plans and see who is responsible.
Step 4
Customize the app for your stable
You can always use the standard set-up in the app, but we know that every stable is unique. Therefore, we give you several options
to customize the app to fit exactly the needs in your stable.
You customize the app on the website. Log in to your profile with the password, you received when you signed up.
For example, you can define exactly which kind of tasks and trainings you will be able to create and add in the app to fit your work in the stable and the training with the horses.
You can also make precisely the overview lists that you want to get the overview, data and info that you need to manage your stable optimally.
Customizing the solution is simple, so you can easily and quickly set up Mosson Stable and start managing your stable and horses digitally.
And the possibilities are endless!
Step 5
Start managing your horses digitally
Starting with something new always takes a bit of adjustment and new habits must be adapted.
Managing your horses with Mosson is
easy and straightforward, but here are a few tips to get a good start.
- Once you have added your horses, start filling in the data, that you already have: the latest vaccination date, farrier visit, dentist, etc.
- Create the activities in the app that you have already scheduled - tomorrows trainings, next farrier visit, dentist etc.
- Add info about tack, feed etc. on each horse profile.
- Remember that the app can be customized for every type of stable – you do that from your profile on the website.
- We recommend that you tell your employees about the new system and give them a short introduction.
Now it is time to use the app for your general stable management. Create the trainings and tasks for the coming week and assign the activities to your employees.
